Chiswick Gets Creative On Monday 12 March

Creative Chiswick is back! If you fancy meeting up with other local creatives for an opportunity to develop some ideas together, maybe find new business or just socialise in a relaxed, informal environment then come along to the next meeting. We'll be at Annie's restaurant, just by the riverside at Strand-on-the-Green between 8pm-10pm on Monday 12 March.

Annie’s has very kindly given us the upstairs private room again, as well as a few bottles behind the bar to get things going, so if you didn’t make it to the last one, now’s your chance. Space is strictly limited, so you’ll need to RSVP (no later than Friday 9 March) by emailing me at CoachFabulousCo@aol.com. If you don’t confirm early, you may miss out, as some did last time, so let me know as soon as possible if you’re interested in joining us.

Why Creative Chiswick?

Good question. Why not? Chiswick is a quirky little London anomaly - leafy and peaceful, yet with one of the city's most vibrant restaurant scenes and scores of creative businesses. What's not quite connecting the dots is that although there are many of us working in creative pursuits in the area, there's no particular forum where we can get together with other local social or business contacts. Creative businesses tend to be smaller outfits, so having an extended social network has to be a bonus. Also, we're often working on different parts of a project, eg web, copy, design etc and could explore ways to team up for future business opportunities. With an eye to the future, we could also be a central point for local businesses to find and commission creative services.

When's it on?

My favourite local restaurant, Annie's, has kindly donated us a private room - and the all-important wine to get those social interactions flowing - for our first meeting on Tuesday 31 October 2006. We'll be getting together from 7pm-9pm. The guest list is strictly by RSVP only as space is limited and as an added bonus it'll give you a chance to avoid all that Halloween nonsense.
